Friends

Well, I got what I wanted for Christmas this year: a vastly more comfortable chair for my desk and, finally, a consultation about my much-needed bunion surgery! I sound like such an old person. HNNNNGH MY TIRED OLD BONES...

I saw Avatar a few days ago and I think my opinion is pretty consistent with the general consensus: the plot was completely predictable (Dances With Blue Cat-People), but I thought it was still entertaining and beautiful enough to be worth seeing, for sure. And I didn't even see it in 3D or Imax or whatever, so that must be saying something!

I am still left with some burning questions, though. For example, what are the odds of a race in a completely different galaxy being humanoid and having a culture and language comparable to those of human tribal societies? And what goober thought it would be a neat idea to use Papyrus for all of the subtitles? 8| Really.

And I also decided it was time to make an art site again (because I never update my sites...) but just a simple one, because it seems right to keep it simple. (Especially since I'm a star at changing layouts for no reason at all.)
